JACKASS PRESENTS: BAD GRANDPA Has a Trailer (Updated)
Part of me wishes the Jackass guys made one movie a year. It’s like a pressure valve release, sometimes you just want to sit in a theatre with your friends and watch a dude fire bottle rockets out of his anus. That I’m not the only one that finds that brand of humor funny is perhaps mildly reassuring, at least to me.
These latest images for Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa come with the news that the film also has a plot – loosely connecting the skits – a first for the series. That’s new territory for Johnny Knoxville and his gang, though one imagines the gags will still be front and center here. I figure we can look forward to something akin to Borat, where the audience is treated to interconnected stunts while still included in on the joke. Here’s a plot synopsis, with new pics featured below:
86 year-old Irving Zisman is on a journey across America with the most unlikely companions, his 8 year-old Grandson Billy in “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa”. This October, the signature Jackass character Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) and Billy (Jackson Nicholl) will take movie audiences along for the most insane hidden camera road trip ever captured on camera.
Along the way Irving will introduce the young and impressionable Billy to people, places and situations that give new meaning to the term childrearing. The duo will encounter male strippers, disgruntled child beauty pageant contestants (and their equally disgruntled mothers), funeral home mourners, biker bar patrons and a whole lot of unsuspecting citizens.
Real people in unreal situations, making for one really messed up comedy.
